The Donors Forum is one of 32 associations across the nation that works to promote philanthropy. Each of our associations works very closely with each other to ensure our members have the best available resources from coast to coast.
The Donors Forum of Wisconsin Members represents:
- Family Foundations
- Donor Advised Funds
- Community Foundations
- Corporate Giving Programs & Company Foundations
- Independent Foundations
- Operational Foundations
- Individuals with charitable distributions of $25,000 annually.
Currently the Donors Forum represents over 140 organizational members with trustees, directors, staff and individual donors representing over 340 people.
Together our members contribute over $185 million, which accounts for over 47% of all grants distributed in Wisconsin. They also represent over $2 billion in assets, which accounts for over 45% of all foundations assets in the state.
The Donors Forum of Wisconsin, together with our partners in over 30 states, connects the Wisconsin philanthropic community with funders from across the nation.
The Donors Forum of Wisconsin is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. A copy of our 990 tax return and audited financial report is available upon request. Our Federal Employer Identification number is (EIN#) 39-6236498.
