For 30 years, the Donors Forum has been a local resource for customized locally-focused research on philanthropy.  The Donors Forum strives to provide its members and Wisconsin grantmakers with information on Wisconsin issues, trends, policies, and practices.   In service of our mission, and as a part of the Donors Forum’s 30th anniversary, we have undertaken a research project we are calling the Wisconsin 100.  Our goal is to create a dynamic knowledge-base of current and detailed information on Wisconsin’s foundations.  This data will strengthen Wisconsin grantmakers’ ability to tell their giving stories, highlight effectively the impact of Wisconsin’s grantmaking community, and accurately depict the scope, diversity and depth of Wisconsin philanthropy.

The culmination of this research effort is the Wisconsin State of Philanthropy Report, available on our website on our Publications page. The Donors Forum’s Wisconsin State of Philanthropy Report highlights the many achievements of Wisconsin foundations, shows the impact of philanthropy in Wisconsin communities, and assesses some of the current trends in local philanthropic giving.
