Deborah Fugenschuh

Deborah Fugenschuh
President

Ms. Fugenschuh has been President of the Donors Forum of Wisconsin since April 1, 1999. During her tenure the organization has grown from 50 to over 180 foundations, with members in the majority of Wisconsin counties, who hold over $2.5 billion in foundation assets and contribute over $180 million to nonprofit organizations annually. Under her leadership the Forum created the Wisconsin Community Foundation Division, to support, promote and sustain the state's community foundations. She has been instrumental in creating a voice for the nonprofit sector at the state and national level and has played a key leadership role in the initiative to promote philanthropy in Wisconsin.

Ms. Fugenschuh has over 25 years of experience, which encompasses the executive, legislative and administrative branches of Wisconsin government and Milwaukee's nonprofit sector. Her expertise is in the fields of executive management, program development, social entrepreneurship and fund development. Ms. Fugenschuh has been recently honored as a 2010 Women of Influence by The Business Journal of Milwaukee for her nonprofit leadership.

Rosemary Lillich Morby
Director, Programming and Special Initiatives

Prior to joining the Donors Forum in August 2007, Ms. Lillich coordinated programming and developed communications tools for the Office of Public and Community Health at the Medical College of Wisconsin. While working on her master's degree at the University of Southern California, she organized a workshop series, assisted in grant writing activities, and created education and outreach materials at the USC Civic Engagement Initiative. In addition, Ms. Lillich has worked as a grassroots organizer on national and state-wide political campaigns and served as the Deputy Scheduling Director and Internship Coordinator for Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle.  As Director of Programming and Special Initiatives, Rosemary Lillich is responsible for managing and implementing programmatic activities to promote the mission of the Donors Forum.

Ms. Lillich was a Dean’s Merit Scholar at the USC School of Policy, Planning, and Development, where she received a Master’s of Public Administration. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003, with a B.A. in Sociology and Certificates in Women’s Studies and Global Cultures.

Theresa J. Duren
Director, Programs and Evaluation

Ms. Duren joined the staff of DFW May of 2011.  She brings nearly 20 years’ experience in the non-profit and philanthropy sector to the position of Director of Programs and Evaluation.  Prior to coming to DFW she was the Senior Grants Officer at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s College of Education, where she was instrumental in securing over $2 million in external grants.

Prior to returning to her native Wisconsin, Ms. Duren was a program officer with The Columbus Foundation, well-endowed community foundation in Columbus, Ohio.  One of her many responsibilities was to advance the mission of two supporting foundations:  The Ingram-White Castle Foundation - a family foundation with corporate ties -  and the Central Benefits Health Care Foundation,  established by Central Benefits Mutual Insurance Company, with a focus on preventative health care for indigent children and adults.  Ms. Duren has also held positions with Vanderbilt University, the Ohio Department of Health, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

She completed her Master of Public Health degree from The Ohio State University in 1996 and holds a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ms. Duren lives in Oshkosh with husband and two children.

William Richards
Associate, Member Services & Research

Upon receiving his M.S. of Nonprofit Management & Leadership at UW-Milwaukee’s Helen Bader Institute, Bill first joined the Donors Forum as a research intern. As Member Services & Research Associate, his primary focus under DFW’s new strategic vision includes oversight of membership services, member inquiries, and DFW research initiatives while serving in a support role for outreach and programming. Additionally, he is responsible for office administration and information technology.

Bill is transitioning from family business working in several capacities, most recently in Lake Geneva, WI. These experiences fostered an understanding and familiarity with effective organizational operations, efficient management of resources, and communications. He also spent over a year volunteering and working in New Orleans following the terrible Katrina disaster.  It was through this profound experience that he gained exposure to the workings of the charitable sector and inspired him towards a mission-oriented career.
 Pat McCarville
