NEW YEAR, A NEW DFW

Over the past year, we’ve been in strategic business planning in an effort to elevate the quality of services we provide to our members.  We have worked diligently to build a new strategic framework that will guide us over the next several years, and do so with the goal of serving our membership more effectively. We recognize that the challenges and day-to-day work of our members has changed in this new economic climate and we want to make sure we are up to the task in providing meanignful resources. 


Vision Statement

To serve as a focal point and catalyst for Wisconsin philanthropists who strive to build a more just, sustainable, and prosperous society for all people in Wisconsin by collaborating with nonprofit providers, governmental entities, and businesses.

STRATEGY I:       PROMOTE AND DEEPEN KNOWLEDGE THAT ADVANCES EFFECTIVE PHILANTHROPY

GOAL A:      Develop a best practices agenda and learning opportunities that apply acquired knowledge and enhances skills to become more effective grantmakers.     



GOAL B:      Create and utilize proven evaluation methodology that will provide in depth assessments of programs while capturing the necessary data required to understand the impact of programming on participant

GOAL C:      Increase knowledge building and data collection to communicate role and impact of philanthropy to DFW members and key stakeholders.         

STRATEGY II:      BROADEN OUR MEMBER BASE TO ACHIEVE GREATER IMPACT

GOAL A:      Expand Milwaukee region membership

GOAL B:      Redesign statewide membership program

STRATEGY III:     BUILD AND ENHANCE PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS BETWEEN FUNDERS, BUSINESSES, GOVERNMENT AND NONPROFITS TO BRING ABOUT SOCIETAL CHANGE
